Logan Wilson, DMD
Dr. Logan returned to his hometown of Lanesborough in 2023. After graduating from Mount Greylock RHS, he lived in Boston, MA, Portland, ME, and Providence, RI to complete his various levels of education and training from 2012-2023. Returning to the Berkshires had been a goal of his due to the importance he places on connection with family and his appreciation of all the outdoor beauty and activities that the Berkshires has to offer. With this plan in mind, Dr. Logan began shadowing at Berkshire Pediatric Dentistry in 2018 while still in dental school. Four years after beginning to build connections at the practice, as Dr. Logan was finishing his pediatric dental residency in 2022, Berkshire Pediatric Dentistry was the only practice he applied to work at as his career goal had always been "BPD or Bust". One year after joining the practice, Dr. Logan purchased Berkshire Pediatric Dentistry from its founder and long-term pillar of pediatric dental care in the Berkshires, Dr. Lisa Gamache.
As Dr. Logan leads BPD into its newest era, he has successfully kept the practice's feel true to its roots that established it as a trusted source of dental care since its founding in 2008. He values an encouraging environment, growth across each patient's individual time at BPD, and helping his patients recognize that they are capable of more than they may have thought. Dr. Logan blends traditional dentistry with modern minimally-invasive evidence based techniques to create a tailored approach to oral health through balancing prevention with operative work. When operative work is indicated, he incorporates various materials and methods to keep dental work as positive an experience as possible by minimizing or avoiding many associations that previous generations may have picked up on their own oral health interactions.
Dr. Logan maintains hospital privileges at Berkshire Medical Center where he is also the Chief of Berkshire Medical Center's Dental Department as, when necessary, offering full mouth rehabilitation under general anesthesia at BMC is a valuable service.
Outside of work, Dr. Logan loves hands-on activities both in nature and through gradually tackling home renovation projects. Dr. Logan and his wife Caitlin, an RN at BMC, seek out any opportunity to soak up all the outdoor adventures to be found around New England including hiking, biking, kayaking, running, and skiing.
